Configuring Feature Delegation

Learn how to use feature delegation to administer your IIS 7.0 environment.

IIS 7.0 is the web server that is on Windows Server 2008.  There have been a lot of changes that have been made to the IIS web server from NT and on.  So, companies are starting to use it more frequently.  it is a major part of SharePoint.  If you don't understand IIS forget about understanding a lot of different products.  In this course we will talk about the differences with previous IIS,  We will install and configure IIS.  In other courses we will spend time configuring IIS.  If you are an Exchange Administrator, SQL Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, Web Administrator etc etc, then this course is for you.  We will be learning about feature delegation.  When you are administering an IIS 7.0 server you have the ability of delegating responsibility.  Features are facets of IIS 7.0 or modules.   You can configure permissions to be assigned to groups to be able to use these modules.   You will learn about feature delegation in the course.
