Securing the CAS Server

Securing the CAS Server on Exchange Server 2010

It is important that you provide the correct security settings on the Client Access Server.  When an individual goes to the OWA (Outlook Web App) from a computer outside the organization, you need to make sure the connection is secure.  This is done by implementing SSL on the HTTP connection.  To do this you need to implement a certificate that is trusted by the outside world.  By default, Exchange Server 2010 has a self-signed certificate.  This not acceptable to the outside world.  We are doing to show you how to correct this problem.

Intended Audience: CAS, Exchange Server 2010, SSL
